TDF Bio online

Stage 15 of the 2005 TDF, and now that we have a wireless laptop how can we compliment to broadcast for the biggest stage in the Tour?

1.) Lets have a look at where we are going. Cycling News has ‘Stage Maps’ and ‘Stage Profiles’ available;

2.) Now we know where we are going, lets get some information on how the riders are going. SRM Telemetric Data Live shows us how the riders are going in real time. And rather than the snap shot views that we looked at back on 2005-07-12, these are a nifty Java app that gives a graph over a half hour period useful to watch for changes. Why does a rider heart rate accelerate when they are not doing any work, yet zoom at about 90km/h down the mountains *chuckle* I think the descents would have my heart racing!

WLAN D-Link DI624

After a considerable period of time in mothballs, I dragged out the D-Link DI624 and setup the WLAN at home. Now you can kick back in the lounge room with the laptop and check out the online details for the TDF :)
