17:01 – Victory For Ricco!
Riccardo Ricco has won his second Tour stage in four days. The winner of stage six has beaten Vladimir Efimkin by 1’03″.
16:59 – One Kilometer To Go
Riccardo Ricco has raced under the ’flamme rouge’ and is about to begin his victory celebrations. He has a lead of 1’00″ on Vladimir Efimkin and is moving up the rankings in the mountains classification but for now, he’s going to enjoy his second victory in four days.

116km – ANOTHER CRASH IN THE PELOTON: Cadel Evans of Silence Lotto takes a tumble too. The Australian Tour favourite is back on his bike, but his knee is bleeding and he has rips on the back of his shirt. Not good for the current 2nd place rider.

Leading Tour de France contender Cadel Evans avoided serious injury in a heavy crash during Sunday’s ninth stage.
The Australian, who rides for Lotto, suffered cuts and bruises down his left side but allayed fears that he had broken his left shoulder in the fall.
