The delicate sound of Blackhawks

Blackhawk helicopters flying circuits over the area tonight, they are quite low and running without lights. On some passes they would only be about 30m directly above the roof!

From Monday to March 24, Black Hawk helicopters will fly over the city and suburban areas during the day and night

The Department of Defence said Melbourne residents may notice some increased noise from the flights with flying to cease by 11.00 pm each day.

Yeah I noticed them too in the Darebin area, around 9PM, counted roughly 4, all without lights except for one on the left of the group with a red light, Headed towards the city, As soon as I spotted them and noticed the lack of lights I figured it was a SF exercise but yeah I checked on the net and realised it wasnt… Still quite alot of noise :)
