**July Challenge – Non-Fiction**

The Aussie Readers group on Goodreads has the July Challenge – Non-Fiction;

July is the month for Non-fiction..Yup, that’s right! Time to shake things up a bit and go with something different.
So…. put down those novels (they’ll be waiting) and discover the world of biographies, auto-biographies, memoirs, world issues (eg.global warming, religion) and more.
Non-fiction covers a HUGE area in the literature world. Have you bought a travel book lately, self-help, cook book or an art book? Now is the perfect time to read them!
.

Being July and sticking with this month’s Tour de France theme here on Visible Procrastinations that can only mean it’s time to read some Lance Armstrong.

Tour de France 2011 – Stage 3

Stage Details:

Tonight is stage 3, Olonne-sur-Mer to Redon, 198km

JEAN-FRANÇOIS PESCHEUX’S ANALYSIS : First opportunity for the sprinters
“We are heading out of the Vendée and into Brittany, crossing the Loire via the Saint-Nazaire bridge, which is the high point of this stage. There is no real difficulty and it seems ideal for the sprinters. They will have to take advantage of this opportunity because they are going to realise very quickly that there aren’t a lot of finishes that suit them. They will have to take care, though: if the wind gets up off the sea, echelons could form in the closing kilometres.”

Music Monday #065 – Kraftwerk – Tour De France

This week’s Music Monday had to be Kraftwerk’s Tour De France.

Kraftwerk – Tour de France Soundtracks
Tour de France Soundtracks is the tenth studio album by the German electronic group Kraftwerk, released in August 2003. In October 2009 it was
re-released under the title, Tour de France. The album is not to be confused with their 1983 single of the same name, though the theme and cover artwork of both releases are nearly identical. The album was recorded for the 100th anniversary of the first Tour de France bicycle race, although it missed its original release date during the actual Tour.
