Tour de France 2011 – 2nd Rest Day

Monday July 18 is the second rest day of the 2011 tour. Time to catch up on some sleep after the Pyrenees and before we hit the Alps.

Music Monday #067 – #TrollDJ Week 2

#TrollDJ is the Twitter hash tag being used to comment on the music being played as the the SBS Tour de France coverage returns after an add break. There is a fair discussion regarding what the song is (thanks to Shazam this is not too difficult to confirm) and the relevance to the montage footage that the music has played over. Finally a decent targeted advert for us last night, Skoda ditched the advert with the musical glasses and gave us;

And Twitter went berserk (that may just be because it was an add that we hadn’t seen every break for the last fortnight).

But how does it compare with “I took down the bear with a single punch”? I guess we’ll see by the end of the week.
