It is with the most pleasure my withered prune of a heart is capable of that I welcome you to this comprehensive, full colour Graphic Novel of that pillar of 21st Century fantasy fiction, The First Law Trilogy.
It’s about eighteen months since Rich Young first came to me with the idea, and since then it’s involved a great deal of work from a lot of talented people. And me. …

Description: Duplicity and treachery…nobility and honor…conquest and triumph…and, of course, dragons. It’s ‘Game’ on for Season 3 of this epic, Emmy(R)-winning HBO series based on the bestselling book series by George R.R. Martin. In Season 3, family and loyalty are the overarching themes as many critical storylines from the first two seasons come to a brutal head. Meanwhile, the Lannisters maintain their hold on King’s Landing, though stirrings in the North threaten to alter the balance of power; Robb Stark, King of the North, faces a major calamity as he tries to build on his victories; a massive army of wildlings led by Mance Rayder (Ciaran Hinds) march for the Wall; and Daenerys Targaryen–reunited with her dragons–attempts to raise an army in her quest for the Iron Throne.
A Song of Ice and Fire: It is interesting to see that Benioff and Weiss have cut Martin’s third book, A Storm of Swords, in two: season three is the first half; season four will be the second.

“You want to do what?”
In the long run,
only you can save mankind.
It’s almost a cliche at this point to say that teen fiction isn’t just for teens anymore. Just last year, the Association of American Publishers ranked Children’s/Young Adult books as the single fastest-growing publishing category.
Which is why we were only a little surprised to see the tremendous response that came in for this summer’s Best-Ever Teen Fiction poll. A whopping 75,220 of you voted for your favorite young adult novels, blasting past the total for last year’s science fiction and fantasy poll at, dare we say it, warp speed. — Your Favorites: 100 Best-Ever Teen Novels [1]
