Remember that as the SIM card ages it accumulates oxidation deposits on its surface. Try a CLEAN pencil eraser rubbed gently over its surface on the contacts side (of course). Put it back in place and this error message no longer appears. Worked for me, and at a speed many times greater than online support!

Same problem also happens with Nuance PDF Reader and with its plugin built into Firefox. If the path has space, then the file cannot be found. You need to download the file via IE (non-plugin having browser) and open.
