THOUSANDS of cyclists have hit Melbourne’s streets in a colourful parade of costumes ranging from Forrest Gump to superheroes and astronauts.
Andy White started the 40km Melburn Roobaix as a Sunday activity for his mates a decade ago, and in its 10 year more than 2000 people cycled from Hawthorn to Brunswick in character.

* US Supreme Court rules in favour of same-sex marriage nationwide in win for gay rights movement (2015-Jun-27)[ABC News]
The Supreme Court has ruled the US Constitution provides same-sex couples the right to marry in a historic triumph for the American gay rights movement.
The court ruled 5-4 that the Constitution’s guarantees of due process and equal protection under the law mean that states cannot ban same-sex marriages.
