Microadventure: 5/52 Travel without a map

The challenge to participate in a microadventure every week for a year.
#07. Travel without a map

“The best parts of life are the things we can’t plan. And it’s a lot harder to find happiness if you’re only searching in one place. Sometimes, you just have to throw away the map. Admit that you don’t know where you’re going and stop pressuring yourself to figure it out. Besides…a map is a life someone else already lived. It’s more fun to make your own.”
― Cora Carmack, Finding It

Yellow Gum Park exploration run – having run in the park several times for the Salomon Trail Series, we went of for an exploration run whilst the Cubs were here for a hike. After the first River Crossing at 2km we were well and truly into unknown territory until we dropped down at 5.5km into the second river crossing. Proving once again that you can have a microadventure without having to travel too far.
