Emma & Tom’s Christmas Run (2016).
What a Great night out at the Emma & Tom’s Christmas Run 2016! A Great party atmosphere after the run with music, food and friends. Melbourne turned on a pearler of an evening, if anything it was possibly a bit too warm for a 10km.

This run was all about running with the pace group; the South Melbourne Atheltics Club (SMAC) provided pacers for 40 mins, 45 mins, 50 mins, 55 mins and 60 mins in the 10km. They certainly stood out in their redd & white striped tops and balloons. After finding that the 55 min pace group was starting in wave 2 there was a change to pacing with Liam for a 50 minute 10km. Liam ended up with an official 50:31.1, and as the course was long a best estimated 10k effort 49:50 via Strava.
