Problem:
MacBook Pro with Retina Display not working via HDMI Extron wall plate.
Cause:
Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) issue with the Retina model MacBook Pros when using Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable, and some Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapters.
Solution:
Use the Moshi Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter (4K) Moshi P/N:99MO023208, and an HDMI lead.
