07.) Go Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing is an outdoor snow activity that involves strapping on special snowshoes. The shoes take up a larger area than your foot and they work by evenly distributing your weight across the snow so that you do not sink into the snow.
⛄️ Lake Mountain:
Take a snowshoe tour with a resort guide – the Snowsports Centre is able to arrange group or individual packages to fit your requirements. Make it a weekend by staying at Marysville at the base of Lake Mountain
⛄️ Mt Stirling:
Mt Buller Mt Stirling Resort Management has created two interpretive walks on Mt Stirling ideal for exploring by snowshoe during the snow season – a 4.4km Wombat Drop Loop and a 12.3km Summit Loop.
Take a guided snowshoe tour with Stirling Experience and enjoy the stunning surrounds of Mt Stirling with an informative guide. Tours operate each Saturday from 1-4pm, and include snowshoe hire, tour and afternoon tea for just $40 (or $20 if you have your own snowshoes).
