Brownsea Island Re-enactment

The Scout section will hold a re-enactment of the first Scout Camp held by BP on Brownsea Island. The program will include activities from the first ever Scout camp held on the island to educate our young people about the history of Scouting, but also include modern activities to reflect the future of Scouting. At the same time a Brownsea Island Re-Enactment will be held in the UK and a video link up or JOTA style link will be made between the camps.

At the Jamboree, and especially on Sunrise Day, we will all come together as one under the banner of Scouting. With this in mind, we would like each Troop to bring a purple World Scout flag to the Ceremony. This is in contrast with the Opening and Closing Ceremonies where national flags are encouraged.
