EVEREST ANYWHERE 2019

❝#EverestAnywhere challenges you to climb the height of Everest wherever you are. Just add up the ascent of every hill you climb and you’ll be amazed at how quickly the meters add up and you are on your way to the top of the world – 8848 meters.❞‬

Whenever you walk or run in the hills you clock up metres of ascent – the vertical distance you cover during your journey on foot. This year Trail and top gear brand Marmot are challenging you to see if you can accumulate an ascent that matches the height of Everest 8,848m.

2019 shows the same low elevation gains for Oct and Sep which is my rafting expedition season, with a restricted snow season for me this year only November showed significant elevation. A total elevation of 20,663m for 2019 which is 2.3 Everests; falling between 27,414m (2017) and 20,101m (2018).
